If you like the idea of moving quickly in smaller colorful little cars, then go-kart racing could be for you. If you are in the Wisconsin Dells area, there are a few go-kart racing tracks that you can take your friends and family too. Go kart racing can be a great way to spend a birthday party, an activity for kids at a family reunion or a “just because” to have some fun on a lazy summer day.
One place where you can have some fun racing go-karts is Mt Olympus Water and Theme Park. Families can spend a few nights in their hotels and experience a variety of activities and fun. If you specifically looking for go-karts, then check out the indoor theme park. Mt Olympus is known to have one of the most largest and unique facilities around the world. It has a mythological theme to its entire indoor park. Park goers get to race in the Diamondback. Racers are told that they can “slither across the water entwined in coils of the slippery serpent.” Those who wish to race must be at least 55″ in height and double riders are allowed as long as adults are age 18 and older.
Another fun go-kart racing track to visit is the Adare Go Carts. It is the fastest race track in the Wisconsin Dells area. Drivers get a chance to drive over hills, under bridges, around waterfalls and hairpin turns. The smaller children can race on the kiddie go-cart track if the big one might seem to adventurous for them. Each individual gets to race the track for $5 each.
Visitors can also check out River View Park where drivers can ride on a go-cart track based on their level of experience. Individuals can race as a junior racer or Can Am. Friends and family can challenge each other to a rice and see who comes in first place! The track also comes equipped with custom cars that can make a whole new ultimate experience. Each person can race for $6 each or spend $15 to race all day long.
When you visit the Kalahari Resort, you can drive on a two-story elevated go-cart race track. Their go-carts are located inside the indoor theme park area. The track has both single and double riders that can create a new experience each time. Any guest who is under 55″ tall will have to be accompanied by an adult to ride. Kalahari Resort does advise that anybody who is pregnant, has heart conditions, respiratory problems, special physical conditions, nervous disorders or high blood pressure should not ride in the go karts. Those who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol should not drive the go karts either. The Kalahari Resort also consists of water-themed parks and offers special packages for families and friends who would like to stay at the resort for a fun-filled weekend.
If you are looking for fun and speed on the go, then you might think of taking your family and friends to some of the resorts listed above. The Wisconsin Dells offer a variety of resorts that offer both outdoor and inside fun for everybody. Although, if you are really looking to get your “speed on” then their go kart tracks may be exactly what you are looking for. Be sure to book your stays well ahead of time, so that you can get a chance to go on your trip when its convenient for you and your guests.
