What is Beer Pong?

The game of Beer Pong is also known as Beirut, where players try to loft a ping-pong ball into a cup of beer at the opposite end of the table. This drinking game has evolved over the years and can have a wide variety of rules depending on the players involved. The Beer Pong table can have anywhere from 6 to 10 cups at each end for game play in a variety of colours, all of which are in a triangle formation. The object of Beirut is to sink the ball into a cup of beer that is filled anywhere from 1/4 – 1/3 full and drink the entire cup while trying to finish all of your cups before the opposite team completes their cups.

These tables can be found almost anywhere that people are engaging in drinking activities. Whether you are at universities, pubs or even home gatherings, the style and composition of beer pong tables can vary significantly. Many Beirut tables have been constructed of wood, aluminium or even plastic or other materials found easily by the players. Your own individual preference will determine the exact type of Beirut table that you prefer. Even the simplest type will have cut outs for 6-10 plastic cups and a large enough playing area for 2 teams of 1-2 people per game. You can find tables that can be installed in your home permanently or in portable carrying cases so that you can take them with you no matter where you are headed.

For those who are big on following special sports teams, you can find a variety of beer pong tables with team colours and designs for any fan. Whether you are an avid watcher of baseball, football, hockey or even basketball, you can find a table that showcases your favourite team. There are options for tables that will split sides between two different rival teams for those who are competitive in nature and want to keep the fun aspect during the game of beer pong. If you can imagine a beer pong table with your team colours and logo, then you can have it designed to your own liking. While some manufacturers will arrange to complete your beer pong table to the team that you prefer, others will leave the choice open for you to finish it yourself.

Shopping for your new beer pong table does not have to be an exhausting search. There are many different places that specialise in different types and styles of tables no matter what material or style you favour. These tables can be placed permanently in a special game room, suspended from the ceiling with cables or even made to be portable to take with you for many different locations. Do not feel that your choices are limited when you are shopping for a Beirut table. Bringing you and your friends hours of fun with a good drinking game is always a good plan when you are looking for a pastime for those who get together.
