Previous UNC basketball guard Cole Anthony included an attention-grabbing new teammate to his Orlando Magic roster previous week at the NBA Draft.
Duke ahead Paolo Banchero was picked No. 1 total by the Orlando Magic in past week’s draft and has previously started creating a marriage with the Magic guard.
Anthony, originally from New York, was again in city in excess of the past handful of months and invited his new teammate to work out with him.
Banchero averaged 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 helps for every game in his lone time for Duke. The 6-foot-10 forward will increase to one particular of the youngest NBA rosters in the league in Orlando, but his ability on the perimeter will be a welcomed addition.
For Anthony, he is coming off of his 2nd year in the NBA. He averaged 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists for each video game final 12 months. He had 9 double-doubles with details and then possibly rebounds or helps final year. His best scoring output was 33 details 2 times.
