The coaches for the Oilers this season include head coach Craig Mactavish, assistant coach Charlie Huddy, assistant coach Bill Moores, assistant coach Kelly Buchberger, goaltending coach Pete Peeters, video coach Brian Ross, development coach Bob Mancini, and skills coach Steve Serdachny and strength and conditioning consultant Chad Moreau.

The training staff includes head medical trainer Ken Lowe, head equipment manager Barrie Stafford, equipment manager Lyle Kulchisky, equipment manager Jeff Lang, assistant medical trainer/fitness coordinator Scott Hoyer, massage therapist Stephen Lines and Joey Moss.

The Oilers won their last three games before the break, beating the Blue Jackets 4-3 on January 20. The Oilers will play two more games this month against the Sabres and the Wild, both home games at home. In February, the Oilers will play away games against the Blues, Red Wings, Wild, Kings, Coyotes, Sharks and Stars. The Oilers will host home games in February against the Predators, Blackhawks, Canadiens, Flames, Lightning, Blue Jackets and the Wild.

In March, the Oilers will hit the road for away games against the Predators, Senators, Maple Leafs, Canadiens, Avalanche Blackhawks, Wild, Coyotes and Ducks. The balance of the games for the month of March will be played at home with the Oilers taking on the Thrashers, Avalanche, Blues, Red Wings, Wild and the Ducks. In April, fans can expect to see the Oilers play four of the five games that finish out the season at home against the Sharks, Canucks, Kings and Flames. The final game of the season will take the Oilers away to play against the Flames on Saturday, April 11.
