PBA: Mark Caguioa mulls retirement with no fanfare, says Tim Cone

MANILA, Philippines–There has been no formal term however, but Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone reported Mark Caguioa has previously discussed his retirement, preferring to slip into the sunset with as minimal “fanfare” as attainable.

“It’s my knowing that [management has] talked to him about his retirement and he reported he didn’t want any fanfare when it did happen,” Cone stated Thursday all through the PBA media day at Novotel in Cubao.

“But we’re still hoping him and Jayjay [Helterbrand] will appear back again and give the admirers a likelihood to give them a right goodbye,” included Cone, who said he hasn’t spoken to Caguioa nevertheless.
